What is Uber Shuttle?
Uber Shuttle is a shared ride option that lets you reserve affordable transportation to and from the airport in the Uber app. You’ll find schedules and routes and can directly book long-distance airport rides in the app.
We’re currently servicing Portland International Airport and Eugene Airport, with dropoffs within Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, Salem, and Woodburn. This includes stops at the University of Oregon and Oregon State University.
How Uber Shuttle works
If Uber Shuttle is available in your city, you can find it in your Uber app.
After inputting your destination, select Shuttle from the list of ride options in the Uber app. If you don’t see Shuttle, swipe up to find it. Then choose pickup and dropoff locations and a specific departure time. You can book up to 7 days ahead and as soon as 5 minutes before the shuttle leaves.
On the day of your departure, within 20 minutes of your departure time, you’ll be able to track the shuttle on the GPS map in the app. When the shuttle arrives, show your QR-code ticket to check in with the driver and hop on.

- Who operates Uber Shuttle trips?
Uber Shuttle trips are organized and operated by Groome Transportation, a third-party shuttle provider that uses the Uber app for convenient booking and route management.
As the shuttle provider, Groome manages and operates these trips and the affiliated driver. Groome drivers must complete and pass Uber’s driver signup process. Safety features available on the Uber platform, such as rider and driver Safety Toolkits, phone number anonymization, Verify My Ride, and Uber safety incident reporting, are not available for these trips. Groome’s safety team will handle any safety incidents.

- How do I book a trip?
Down Small Follow these steps:
- Input your destination.
- Choose the Shuttle ride option in the Uber app. (If you don’t see Shuttle, swipe up to find it.)
- Choose pickup and dropoff locations and a specific departure time.
- Make your payment.
Once these steps are complete, you can view your ticket. The app will direct you to the pickup point. Show the ticket (QR code) to your driver when boarding.
