Open the Life360 app and tap on any Family or Teen-related entry point. You'll be prompted to connect your Uber account in just a few steps.
- Do I need to already have an Uber account?
You will need an Uber account. If you don't already have an Uber account, you can create one as part of the linking process.
- How do I see my teen's rides in Life360?
A car icon will appear next to their profile on the Life360 map, along with their estimated arrival time. The full-ride tracking experience, including real-time updates and access to safety features, are available within the Uber app.
- Do I need a Life360 subscription to use this?
You need an active Life360 account, no paying subscription required.
- Who is eligible for the Life360 Gold 6 month free-trial offer?

- Is this available everywhere?
Currently, you can only link your Life360 account to your Uber account in the United States (excluding California). Uber teen accounts are available in select cities.
- Can I request a ride for myself or my teen from the Life360 app?
Yes! As a Family Organizer, you can request a ride from Life360. It will open the Uber app so you can get your teen (ages 13-17) where they need to go. Your teen will need to have an Uber teen account set up. Learn more about how to get their teen account started here. Users must have an active Uber account to use.
- What happens if I unlink my account?
You can unlink your Uber and Life360 Circles at any time within the Life360 app.
If you have redeemed either the Uber One free trial or Life360 Gold free trial, unlinking will not terminate this membership. You can cancel your Uber One membership in the Uber app and your Life360 membership in the Life360 app.
