  • Do I have to pay for the inspection?

If you go to one of these inspection stations, you can receive the Maryland state inspection for free.

  • Do I need an appointment?

Most stations prefer that you make an appointment for an inspection. This also saves you time waiting at the station. Many of these stations are not open on Sundays so it’s encouraged to plan ahead and call the station before going in for an inspection.

  • Does Uber reimburse for safety inspections?

No. Uber does not reimburse for the cost of safety inspections that you’ve already paid for. However, you can get a free inspection at one of the stations listed on the map above.
