Get one point for every trip and 3 points for trips during 3-point hours.

Keep your star rating at 4.85 or above and your cancellation rate at 4% or below to earn Gold, Platinum, and Diamond rewards.

Keep your star rating at 4.85 or above and your cancellation rate at 4% or below to unlock Gold, Platinum, and Diamond status.

Some cancels won’t affect your rate

Your cancellation rate is based on the trips that you accepted but then cancelled in the last 3 months. If you cancel at the pickup location, because your rider doesn’t show or due to safety concerns, it doesn’t count against your rate.

You earn points during fixed 3-month periods. Points reset after each period.

When you earn enough points to unlock the next level of rewards, you start enjoying your new rewards right away. Keep your rating high and cancellation rate low to continue enjoying rewards until the end of the next 3-month period.

Fixed 3-month periods: Nov 1 – Jan 31; Feb 1 – Apr 30; May 1 – Jul 31; Aug 1 – Oct 31

Currently, the program is in beta and being tested with select drivers. Beta drivers include:

  • All drivers in Chicago, New Orleans, Phoenix, and Seattle
  • Randomly selected drivers in Boston, Denver, New Jersey, Orlando, Tampa Bay, and Washington, DC

Our plan is to use feedback from drivers in these areas to make improvements before expanding this program to more drivers. Program rewards vary by location and are subject to change. Rewards described on this page may not be available in all cities where Uber Pro is available.*

Your overall star rating is an average of individual ratings provided by riders from your past 500 trips.

If you receive a rating of 4 stars or below on a trip for a reason that is out of your control, like a bad GPS route or traffic, the rating will be excluded from your overall rating. See more about ratings protection.

Star rating

If you are a driver with Gold, Platinum, or Diamond status and your star rating falls between 4.75 and 4.84, you won’t be able to reach a higher status by earning more points. You will maintain your current status and have access to your current rewards.

If your rating falls below 4.75, you will lose access to your rewards immediately. To earn back your status and rewards, your rating must return to 4.85 or above.

Cancellation rate

If you are a driver with Gold, Platinum, or Diamond status and your cancellation rate rises to between 4.01% and 10%, you won’t be able to reach a higher status by earning more points. You will maintain your current status and have access to your current rewards.

If your cancellation rate rises above 10%, you will lose access to your rewards immediately. To earn back your rewards, your cancellation rate must return to 4% or below.

You earn points during fixed 3-month periods. At the start of a 3-month period, your status is determined by the points you earned in the previous 3-month period. At any time, you can move up tiers and unlock more rewards if you earn enough points for the next status and maintain high ratings.

Drivers who also deliver with Uber Eats will earn points for delivery trips. Each delivery completed during 3-point hours will earn 3 points.

Please note: delivery partners who only deliver with Uber Eats are not eligible for Uber Pro. Trip duration viewing rewards are not available on Uber Eats trips.
