Child eligibility
Uber Car Seat provides one forward-facing car seat for a child who is at least 2 years old, 22 pounds, and 31 inches tall. A child is too big at 48 pounds or 52 inches.
Pricing
Rates for Uber Car Seat are the same as UberX, plus a $10 surcharge.
Availability
Uber Car Seat vehicles are currently equipped with one car seat per car. Expect the same midsize cars as you'd find with UberX (such as Toyota Camrys and Honda Accords).

Terms of service: Uber Car Seat enables Uber driver-partners to provide access to a child car seat in their vehicles. If you (the parent, guardian, or caregiver) choose to use Uber Car Seat, you are solely responsible for examining the car seat for proper installation and for properly securing the child in the car seat’s harness straps. Children riding with Uber Car Seat must be at least 2 years old (effective 11/1/19, to comply with changes in New York State law) and weigh between 22 and 48 pounds and be between 31 and 52 inches in height. Uber is not responsible or liable for improperly installed car seats or improperly secured children.
