Cincinnati vehicle inspections

Per Kentucky state law, rideshare drivers who want to pick up riders in Kentucky must have an annual vehicle inspection.

If you want to accept Uber ride requests in Kentucky, keep reading to learn about how to go through the vehicle inspection process.

Start the process

1

Download an inspection form

Uber partners need to have their vehicle inspected by a third party mechanic within 30 days of being activated to receive ride requests by a TNC in Kentucky. This vehicle inspection should be done on an annual basis. Before going to a vehicle inspection location, please download and print the form below.

2

Find an inspection center

You can schedule an inspection with any facility licensed by the state of Ohio or Kentucky. Note that Uber does not cover inspection costs performed by a third-party mechanic.

3

Upload the completed form

Once you pass, upload a copy of the completed form from the account tab in your Partner App or you can upload to your partner profile at partners.uber.com.
