Improving the Driver app experience, together

The Tune-Up is where you can see your feedback in action. In this edition, we’re sharing exciting app updates, like improved road-closure reporting, hands-free features, and more.

Only accept the trips you mean to

We’ve added clearly marked buttons to the offer details so you can view offers without worrying about accidentally accepting a trip.

Report road closures

Easily report road closures and other issues that can delay you and other drivers on the road. Your navigation will offer you an alternative route in impacted areas.

Go hands-free with Siri voice commands

Coming this month, iPhone users can use Siri for certain hands-free voice commands. Siri can help you call customers, go online, and more. To get started, go to Menu > Account > App Settings > Siri Shortcuts.

“Having hands-free shortcuts is a plus as a driver. The less amount of time that I have to operate the app while I’m driving, the better.”*

But wait, there’s more

We’ve also built a few additional improvements and features to help you out on the road.

Get live locations for delivery

Uber now shares the live location of customers to make deliveries easier, even if a customer moves from their pinned location.

Track your Quest progress from your homescreen

Use the Quest widget to track your progress with just a glance on your phone’s homescreen. Now available on both iOS and Android phones.

Follow My Ride is newly set on default

Once you share your trip status with loved ones, it will continue to be shared with them without you needing to share it at the start of each trip.

.

Make your voice truly heard

Uber Crew is a program where drivers and couriers collaborate with Uber to enhance the app experience with feedback from folks like you. Share your feedback on the app using the link below to help us understand how we can improve.
