Hotspots

San Francisco

Lots of riders travel to and from downtown SF during commuting hours. Otherwise, North Beach, the Marina, and the Mission are popular on nights and weekends.

Best times to drive:

  • Mon-Fri: 7am-10am, 4pm-7pm
  • Fri-Sat: 7pm-2am
  • Sun: 10am-2pm

East Bay

Berkeley, Oakland, and Fremont are popular pickup and drop-off points for Uber riders. Often, riders commute from BART stops to the downtown business corridors.

Best times to drive:

  • Mon-Fri: 8am-10am, 5pm-7pm
  • Thurs-Sat: 8pm-2am

South Bay

Many commuters will be in need of rides to and from work, espeically near Caltrain stations from San Mateo to San Jose. Weekend nights are also popular in the downtown areas of Palo Alto and San Jose.
