Need a premium electric vehicle?

Drivers are welcome to purchase their own premium electric vehicle (EV). Uber recognizes that EVs are expensive and has partnered with Hertz to offer the rental of 50,000 Tesla Model 3s specifically for drivers on Uber.

The partnership in North America has already benefited tens of thousands of drivers on the Uber platform. To date, nearly 50,000 drivers have rented a Tesla through this program, completing more than 24 million fully-electric trips and over 260 million electric miles.

You can learn more about the partnership here.

If you’re interested in a flexible rental option, search at the link below.

We’ll provide a $40 credit for you to pick up your rented vehicle.¹

Better for the planet and for you

Drivers eligible for Uber Comfort Electric can earn more per hour as a result of higher fares, gas savings, and an extra $1-per-trip incentive² for each trip they complete (up to $4,000 annually) on eligible rides. The incentive is available for a limited time. See terms.²

With an electric vehicle, drivers can also say goodbye to gas. Drivers using Uber get access to exclusive discounts on home charging options and public charging like exclusive EVgo³ discounts, and others, which help to boost gas savings.⁴
