Additional vehicle inspections are not required to drive in Georgia. However, if you would like to take trips in South Carolina, you must complete a vehicle inspection within 30 days of your first trip in South Carolina (ex. Hilton Head, Beaufort, Bluffton).

Annual vehicle inspections
South Carolina law requires Uber drivers to inspect their vehicle within 30 days of their first trip in South Carolina, and then on an annual basis. Download the form linked below to bring to an approved inspection facility.
2. Find an inspection center
Inspection may be completed at: any car dealership, Bridgestone, Butler Automotive Service, Firestone Complete Auto Card (FCAC), Goodyear, Gordon Car Care, Jiffy Lube, Meineke, Midas, National Tire & Battery Auto Center, Pep Boys, Precision Tune Auto Care, Savannah Tire, Tire Plus, or Tuffy Auto Service in your area including those not on this list.
Passed Inspection forms from other rideshare companies may also be accepted.
Once you pass, upload the form and receipt to your account. Uber does not cover repairs or maintenance to pass an inspection.
