How to enroll
Create a business profile, add your American Express® Corporate Card, and enroll in Uber Rewards.
Open your Uber app. From the menu button, choose Wallet, tap Add business profile, and complete setup.
Select your American Express® Corporate Card as the payment method on your business profile.
Join by tapping Turn on Uber Rewards.
Earn more reward points on rides and Eats
Uber Rewards lets you earn reward points and redeem them on rewards like Uber Cash and discounts on rides and Uber Eats. Now when you use your American Express® Corporate Green, Gold, or Platinum Card and ride on a business profile, you’ll earn double reward points on rides and triple on orders with Uber Eats to redeem for personal use.
Get priority pickup at airports
American Express Corporate Gold and Platinum Card Members will be able to unlock priority pickup at most US airports. Where available, you’ll automatically be put at the front of the line for the closest available driver.
Ride with highly rated drivers
Corporate Platinum Card Members will also be able to request to ride with highly rated drivers where available. To request a highly rated driver, Card Members need to request the UberX Diamond option in the app.
Get more reward points
You get twice the Uber reward points when you request a ride or order a meal with Uber Eats on your business profile and charge it to your American Express® Corporate Card.
Earn 2 points for every eligible dollar you spend on UberPool trips.
Earn 3 points for every eligible dollar you spend on Uber Eats.
Earn 4 points for every eligible dollar you spend on UberX, UberXL, and Uber Select trips.
Earn 6 points for every eligible dollar you spend on Uber Black and Uber Black SUV trips.
- How do I earn double Uber reward points on rides and triple Uber reward points on Uber Eats orders?
To earn double Uber reward points on rides and triple Uber reward points on Uber Eats orders, you must create a business profile, add your American Express® Corporate Card as a payment method, and enroll in Uber Rewards. Once you’ve completed these steps, you simply have to ride while using your business profile and pay using your American Express® Corporate Card.
- Am I eligible for this benefit?
Anyone with a US-issued American Express® Corporate Card—Green, Gold, or Platinum—is eligible. All you have to do is create a business profile, save your Corporate Card as the business profile payment method, and enroll in Uber Rewards.
- What can I use my reward points for?
Once you get 500 points, you’ll have the option to redeem them for rewards the next time you open the Uber app.
- Do the extra reward points go toward my Uber Rewards tier?
No, the extra points are reward points and go toward meeting the 500 reward points needed to redeem a reward. They don’t count toward the next Uber tier level (Blue, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond).
- How do I know if I’ve successfully enrolled in the benefit?
Once you set up your business profile, added your American Express® Corporate Card, and joined Uber Rewards, you’ll get an email notification that you’ve successfully enrolled.
- I just charged a ride or Uber Eats order to my Corporate Card. How do I know that I received the correct number of Uber reward points?
To see the full number of points you’ve received, check your email for the ride or order receipt. The breakdown of points will be outlined in the email.
- I’m traveling internationally soon. Will I earn double reward points on these rides?
- How do I request rides or orders on my business profile instead of my personal profile?
Once you’ve created a business profile, you’ll be able to toggle between your business and personal profiles when requesting a ride or placing an Uber Eats order.

Standard Rate: The standard U.S. Uber Rewards rate is one point per eligible dollar for Pool, Express Pool, and Uber Eats orders; two points per eligible dollar for X, XL, WAV/Assist, Comfort, and Select; and three points per eligible dollar for Uber Black and Black SUV rides. Uber Taxi and JUMP rides do not earn points. If users do not earn reward points on a ride, they will not earn extra reward points through the American Express benefit. The extra reward points earned through the Amex benefit are Uber reward points only, meaning that they count toward redemption awards earned every 500 reward points but, unlike “level points,” do not count toward Uber Rewards membership levels (Blue, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond). Promotions: Any additional promotions that Uber runs will not impact the number of extra reward points provided by the Amex benefit.
Uber Cash: Uber rides and Uber Eats orders paid for using only Uber Cash will not earn extra reward points through the American Express benefit, even if the Uber Cash was paid for using an eligible American Express Corporate Card.
Eligible Card Members: To be eligible for the benefit, Card Members must first open the app and enroll in the U.S. Uber Rewards program, which requires being physically in the United States at the time of enrollment. Card Members already enrolled in Uber Rewards can verify the market in which they are enrolled by checking the Uber Rewards Program Terms & Conditions in their app. Card Members can contact Uber Support regarding any issues they have enrolling. Extra reward points with Uber Rewards, which is the ability to earn extra reward points with your eligible Amex Card, is available to U.S. Corporate Card Members with the following Cards: American Express® Corporate Green Card, American Express® Corporate Gold Card, and the Corporate Platinum Card® from American Express. Priority pickups at most U.S. airports is available to American Express® Corporate Gold Card Members and Card Members with the Corporate Platinum Card® from American Express. Priority pickups is based on driver availability. Shorter wait times are not guaranteed for any given airport pickup. Card Members with the Corporate Platinum Card® from American Express also have the ability to request to ride with highly rated drivers where available. Ratings and trip thresholds for highly rated drivers may vary by city and over time. This benefit may not be available in all locations. Requests may be unfulfilled if no eligible drivers are available.
