Vehicle inspections
Regulations require you to have a state vehicle inspection on file to pick up riders in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. You may pick up riders in DC for 90 days and in Virginia for 30 days without an inspection, but Maryland requires one before you can accept pickups.
Passed Inspection forms from other rideshare companies may also be accepted.
Already have an inspection?
If you live in Maryland or Virginia, you may already have a valid inspection. Take a photo of it and upload it to your account, if you haven't already.
Please note that for TNC drivers, vehicle inspections in both Maryland and Virginia are valid only for one year from the time you obtain one.
