Pierre-Dimitri Gore-Coty heads Uber’s operations across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, overseeing the company’s growing business across 45 countries and over 120 cities.
Spending some years at Goldman Sachs, becoming an entrepreneur at age 27, and harnessing a big urge to build something, Pierre joined Uber’s first international city as General Manager for France in 2012. As one of the earliest members of the team and with a conviction of the need to offer better transport options, he mass-scaled Uber’s service across Europe before taking the challenge to the wider region.
Pierre first developed his passion for numbers during school, coding and building websites with friends, after which he further developed his skills at the École Centrale Paris before heading to New York to study financial engineering at Columbia University.
He is a French citizen based in Amsterdam and married since 2016.
