Today, when you choose to share your trip with another rider heading in the same direction, the Arbor Day Foundation will plant a tree in your honor.

For every uberPOOL ride taken on Earth Day, we will plant one tree.

Reducing your carbon footprint, one ride at a time
Since uberPOOL’s launch in San Francisco in November 2015, riders have shared similar routes with uberPOOL—saving money and reducing carbon emissions.
If every Uber rider in the Bay Area shared their trip for one day, we’d save 133,721 miles on the road and 36,105 kg of CO2. Will you pledge to uberPOOL? There’s no time like Earth Day to start.
