Giving back to our Community after the California Wildfires
October 17, 2017 / San FranciscoOur thoughts remain with everyone impacted by the sudden and devastating North Bay wildfires. To support disaster recovery efforts, we committed to donating more than $300,000 of rides, food, and relief to the families and communities affected by the California Wildfires.
We committed to contributing up to $100,000 to the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund in support of ongoing relief efforts.
We partnered with the American Red Cross to help with rides to and from their shelters and their partner shelters.
At our Bay Area offices, we donated much needed items like clothing and diapers to the Santa Rosa Salvation Army. We also donated to the Napa Valley Community Foundation and have plans to donate to other organizations as well.
Additionally, we also partnered with Project Open Hand to offer free rides to filtered air centers in San Francisco for vulnerable populations like senior citizens most affected by the poor air quality.
How you can help:
- Volunteer through the Red Cross Volunteer Connection site (also can call 707-543-4542)
With kind regards,
