Turn trips into Lions tickets this Thanksgiving!
Thousands of Michiganders will be coming home this Thanksgiving to celebrate with friends and family. The holiday homecoming makes Thanksgiving Eve one the busiest bar nights of the year. Thanks to drivers like you, thousands of riders are able to ditch their keys and choose Uber as a safe alternative.
To thank you for all you do, we’ve partnered with the Lions to give partners the chance to win prizes this Thanksgiving. From November 9th – November 24th every completed trip you take in Detroit earns you a separate entry for a chance to win great prizes. Prizes include:*
- (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a Lions Thanksgiving VIP Experience, which is 4 tickets to Thursday, November 24th Thanksgiving Lions Game, 4 sideline passes, Lions merchandise and UberSUV rides to and from the game
- (1) Runner up winner will receive 2 tickets to Sunday, December 11th Lions game and 2 sideline passes
- (1) Runner up winner will receive 2 tickets to Sunday, January 1st Lions game and 2 sideline passes
- (2) Winners will receive official Lions merchandise
- (5) Winners will receive $50 gas gift cards
How do you enter to win?
- Check out the email sent to you on Wednesday November 9th or open your partner app.
- Click to opt-in to the Driver Thanksgiving Appreciation form within the email or in the message in your partner app.
- Pro-Tip: You must opt-in in order to be considered to win.
- Drive. Each trip you take in metro-Detroit from November 9th – November 22nd is one (1) point. Each completed trip taken between November 23rd and November 24th will be three points. The more points you have the better chance you have to win!

Q: When does the promotion start?
A: The promotion will run from Wednesday, November 9th – 6AM Thursday, November 24th
Q: Who qualifies for this promotion?
A: All drivers! All drivers in Detroit should have received an email on Wednesday, November 9th. Please have them click into the Opt-in form. This form will let us know that they are interested in being entered into the prizes
Q: Does this promotion affect any other Uber promotions (referral campaigns, incentives, etc.)
A: No. This promotion is separate from all other Uber promotions. Drivers need to opt-in to the email to be entered to win.
Q: How do I win?
A: For each completed trip taken between November 9th – November 24th gives you a point for a chance to win various prizes. The more trips you take, the more points you have.
Q: How do the points work?
A: For each completed trip taken between November 9th – November 22nd you will receive one point or entry for a chance to win various prizes. On November 23rd and 24th each trip you take will give you THREE points. As a reminder we will see the highest demand on Thanksgiving Eve.
Q: Where are the best places to drive?

Q: When will winners be announced?
A: The Grand Prize Lions Thanksgiving VIP Experience will be announced Wednesday, November 23rd via phone call and email. All other winners will be announced on Friday, November 25th via email.
