It was a text at 3am that inspired Samuel to start Workout Bunnies. After telling his friend they needed to find a fitness “bunny” (typos happen at 3am) that early in the morning, Samuel had the brilliant idea of starting an app to help people find activities and workout partners.

More than a year later, Workout Bunnies allows people to connect with folks in their community who want to run, hike, or do an activity together. “I started Workout Bunnies because I think people need motivation to get into group activities. You’ll have a harder time making an excuse if someone is waiting for you,” Samuel said.

When he’s not encouraging people to workout, Samuel is a personal banker and drives with Uber part time. He started driving as a way to make some money with his new car and market his small business. “You can do a lot of networking when you’re driving people around, it’s a great way to spread the word,” Samuel said.

Looking for a new activity? Head over to Workout Bunnies and find a fitness friend.
