How fares are calculated
Standard delivery fare
For each delivery, you earn amounts for pickup, dropoff, time, and distance. Time and traffic delays may be factored into your fare.
For multiple orders
In addition to receiving the standard amounts for pickup and distance, a pickup fee multiplier may be applied depending on the distance between the restaurants. You’ll also earn a dropoff fee for each order.
Promotions
Promotions can help you identify busy areas when there’s a high demand for delivery. High demand usually means there’s more money for you to earn. And with a little planning, you can take advantage of multiple promotions at once.
How to get refunded for toll fees
If you’re delivering with a 4-wheel vehicle, any toll that you pay while delivering will be refunded to you.
The app registers when you have gone through a toll, and your toll fee will be automatically added to your fare. You can verify that you received a toll amount in your fare breakdown screen. It will also appear in your weekly statement. Uber service fees are not applied to tolls.
Once you complete a delivery, if you don't see the toll in your fare breakdown, request a toll review. Go to Help, select Trip Issues and Adjustments, then Issues with my fare, and select My toll or parking fee wasn't included in my fare.
