DonтАЩt stand by: how and when to take action
Here are tips developed by NO MORE, a global advocacy group thatтАЩs helping to end gender-based violence. They spotlight the important role all of us play in looking out for one anotherтАЩs safety.
Watch for social cues
Pay attention to your friends. If you think they look uncomfortable or not themselves, donтАЩt be afraid to ask them if theyтАЩre OK.
Enlist allies
If you see anyone acting violently or aggressively, notify security or call local authorities.
Stick together
End the night the same way you started it: together. Think about making a plan with your friends in advance to leave the bar or club with a buddy or as a group.
