With the Driver app, you can set a destination, like your house, the store—anywhere you need to go. Then the app looks for riders traveling in the same direction whom you can pick up on your route.

How driver destinations work
Here’s how to set a destination and pick up one or more riders on your route:
1. Tap the magnifying glass at the top of your screen and enter your destination address in the “Filter trips toward” field.
2. Choose Flexible Route for more trip opportunities, or Faster Route to prioritise reaching your destination sooner.
3. Tap “Set destination” to get trip requests heading towards your destination.
Frequently asked questions
When I use driver destinations, will my riders always go in the same direction as me?
Riders that the app finds for you will be going in the general direction of your destination. Plus, you can set an arrival time.
What’s the difference between Flexible Route and Faster Route?
Flexible Route gives you more driving time and more opportunities for trips on the way to your destination. Faster Route helps you arrive sooner, with fewer trip opportunities along the way.
Does it work for all trip options?
Driver destinations work for most trip options, including UberX, Comfort, Exec, and more.
How often can I set a destination?
The app lets you set your destination 2 times per day. It doesn’t have to be the same destination each time; you can choose different locations.
Can I use Destination Mode at the airport?
No, you can’t turn on Destination Mode while at an airport.
