Everything you need to know about uberHOP

December 14, 2015 / Washington

Friday, August 19 was the last day of service for uberHOP in Seattle. After running this pilot for over 7 months, we’ve learned a ton that will shape how we design and develop our carpooling option—uberPOOL. Since April, many Seattleites have been relying on uberPOOL for an affordable, door-to-door commute. By making it easy and affordable for commuters to carpool, we hope to get more people into fewer cars and help reduce congestion and pollution in Seattle.

Meet uberHOP—a new option that lets you share your trip with others along Seattle’s most popular routes during commuting hours. It’s the reliability you’ve come to expect from Uber, at our lowest price yet. uberHOP is available along 14 fixed routes for a flat fare ranging from $3 to $5.  All routes are currently only available from 7-10am and 4:30-7:30pm.

If you commute to Downtown, SoDo or South Lake Union, select your neighborhood below to find pickup/drop off locations and pricing.
