Unlock more earnings and new rewards with Uber Pro
Starting March 1, we’ll begin phasing out Advantage Mode in cities where it’s available and introducing the new-and-improved Uber Pro program in select cities. The new Uber Pro can help you earn more and improve your day-to-day experience. Gold, Platinum, and Diamond drivers who provide great service and get riders where they need to go safely will earn 5% more per trip on UberX and other non-premium rides, along with more Exclusive ride requests and priority for Trip Radar matching compared to Blue drivers. Plus, Platinum and Diamond drivers also receive priority access to more Reserve trips, making it easier to plan their day. And Diamond drivers will be able to enjoy a free Uber One membership with $0 Delivery Fee, Uber Eats discounts, ride credits, and more on eligible rides and orders. More details coming soon.

Provide great service and earn more with Uber Eats Pro
The new Uber Eats Pro program is designed to reward top couriers with higher earnings and an improved day-to-day experience. Gold, Platinum, and Diamond couriers who provide good service get priority access to higher-paying deliveries through Preferred Deliveries, helping them earn more than Green couriers. Diamond couriers also get live Premium Support to help resolve issues in real time.
Plus, the new Uber Eats Pro Hub makes it even easier to track your progress and rewards. Check your status, explore and redeem rewards, and discover exactly what you need to reach the next level.
Spot where it’s busy at a glance with the new rides heatmap
This is our smartest map yet. Easy-to-read warm colors will show you where it’s busy, estimated wait time ranges based on recent trip requests, and purple areas showing where you could earn extra with surge. It updates every 10 minutes with information about rider demand and estimated wait times, so you can hit the road anytime with confidence.
Make quick decisions on where and when to deliver
The delivery heatmap now gives you a real-time view of where demand is heating up with color-coded areas and updated icons refreshed every 10 minutes. Find hot spots faster, and maximize your earning potential.
Make decisions easier with more time and more info
When you receive a trip request, you’ll now see clearer route information on the map, including the number of stops between the first pickup and final dropoff. We’ve also extended the time to accept a trip request by up to a third in some markets, giving drivers more time to review and decide which trips to take.
Plan ahead with detailed destination info in Trip Planner
Trip Planner now shows pickup and dropoff addresses up front so couriers will always know exactly where they’re going. With this added clarity, you can enjoy smoother deliveries and more confidence on the road.
Enjoy more clarity and control on batched deliveries
We’re helping couriers deliver multiple orders with more ease. You’ll get clear signals and visual cues on important information like merchant logos, how many orders are headed to the same customer, clear distinction on multiple pickups at the same restaurant, and alerts on often-missed items so you can stay focused while on the move.
Maximize your airport efficiency with new trip tools
We're rolling out features to make airport trips more intuitive and help you make better use of your time. Now when you enter an airport waiting lot, you’ll be able to view and bid on multiple trip requests at the same time with Trip Radar. This new system is designed to create faster matches and reduce wait times, helping you get back on the road quicker. You can also see real-time demand information, including upcoming estimated demand, earnings trends, and incoming flight and passenger volume to help you decide whether to stay at the airport or head elsewhere.
Find trips that fit your plans with Destination Mode
With the new Destination Mode, you’ll only get trip requests that move you closer to where you want to go, with smarter filtering based on direction, distance, and time. Choose between 2 route options: a flexible route for more trip opportunities or a faster route for a quicker arrival.
Earn remotely with digital tasks
We will start to pilot a new way to earn in the Driver app when you’re not driving or delivering. These will be digital tasks, like recording audio, uploading images, or digitizing documents. Select drivers and couriers will start to see an invitation to sign up for this opportunity as we pilot it later this year.
Unlock more earnings with catering setup
Earn extra payment—and potentially bigger tips—by setting up large food orders (20+ items) upon dropoff. These orders are clearly labeled "Setup required," so you’ll always know what to expect in advance.
Enjoy smarter navigation on your car’s display
Improved navigation on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto shows alternate route suggestions and real-time road condition alerts from other Uber drivers directly on your vehicle’s screen.
Stay focused on the road with enhanced navigation features
You’ll now see speed zones and camera locations marked with improved icons that help you easily distinguish between traffic light cameras and other speed cameras. Plus, you’ll get alerts as you approach different speed limits and receive notifications when you're in these areas. In addition, the new adaptive navigation camera shows your current and next turns at a glance, so you can plan ahead without manually adjusting your view while driving.

Feel more confident with women trip matching
The new Women Rider Preference gives women drivers the option to request trips from women riders, including during peak earning hours like evenings. This means more opportunities to earn on your terms with more flexibility and confidence. Simply toggle on Women Rider Preference in your app settings, and turn off the preference at any time.
Drive with more peace of mind and control
The new Rider Rating Preference lets you set a minimum star rating for riders. You’ll only get trip requests from riders whose ratings meet the level of filter you choose. The choice is always yours.
Drive with confidence with new cash payment safeguards
To help create a more comfortable experience, we’ve introduced rider identity verification for cash trips. Riders paying with cash need to verify their identity and may additionally need to pass an ID and selfie check to request their ride. You’ll have more peace of mind that users are who they say they are, so you can drive with more confidence and focus on the road ahead.
Deliver confidently with new package safety measures
Riders requesting package deliveries will now need to pass an ID and selfie check if they are requesting a delivery late at night, are relatively new to the platform, or meet other potential triggers. These precautions are built to help you feel confident when delivering a package during off-hours or to someone who lacks an extended history of positive interactions on Uber.
Deliver alcohol with added assurance
We’ve added a stronger age-verification feature to help prevent minors from ordering alcohol through the app. In addition to checking all customer IDs at handoff, customers who may be underage also must now complete identity verification before placing alcohol orders, leading to a smoother delivery experience.
Protect your phone’s health when you record rides
Record My Ride now includes device protection features that monitor your phone’s temperature, battery, storage, and memory. If any of these reach concerning levels, recording automatically pauses and restarts once your device returns to a healthy state, helping to preserve your phone’s performance.

Get a fare increase if the ride takes longer
Unexpected delays—like traffic or detours—can make trips run longer than expected. Now, with a delayed ride guarantee, you’ll automatically earn more anytime a ride lasts 5 minutes more than estimated from pickup to dropoff. It’s our way of making sure your time is always valued and every trip is worth your effort.
Earn tips more often for your great service
A new iOS feature makes it easier for riders to show their appreciation when it matters most: A tipping prompt now appears on their homescreen 2 minutes before your trip ends and stays visible for 5 minutes after, gently reminding riders that they can tip.
Have more certainty in every trip with tip guarantee
With our new tip guarantee feature for couriers, when you see “guaranteed” on a trip request, the amount you see on the trip is the amount you’ll receive after delivery. In cases where there is a change, Uber will cover the difference. Enjoy greater confidence and certainty on every trip.
Get more clarity on your cancellations
Couriers are now protected from occasional cancellations that are beyond your control—such as when someone else picks up your order or a restaurant is unexpectedly closed—and they won’t count toward your cancellation rate. Improved communication in the app will help you make informed decisions when cancellation issues arise.
Safeguards against ratings out of your control
We’re introducing improvements to our rating system to better detect ratings that are outside of a courier’s control and exclude them from your rating calculation.
You’ll now receive clear in-app notifications when reports are made about you for even more issues like inappropriate behavior, incomplete deliveries, or account sharing. These notifications give you the opportunity to see what type of incident was reported, learn when it happened, and share your side of the story, including any recordings or photos.
Keep earning with Uber, uninterrupted
We understand that losing access to Uber can create real challenges. That’s why we’ve made it easier for drivers and couriers to keep earning. Even if you’re no longer eligible for certain types of opportunities—like alcohol delivery—you can still access other opportunities you qualify for on the Uber platform. However, please note that serious violations, such as safety-related issues, may result in losing access to the platform entirely.
Tell your side of the story
Record My Ride can help you tell your side of the story if a rider makes a report against you. If we verify the evidence, actions may be taken against that rider, which can include a permanent ban.
