Winter is coming, and the Seattle Goodwill is here to help you clean out your closet. Your clothing donation supports Goodwill’s efforts to provide job training and education in Seattle.
On Saturday, December 10 from 10am to 4pm, open the Uber app, request DONATE, and one of our driver-partners will pick up your clothing donations for free.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Bag your jackets, shirts, pants, blouses, and other unwanted clothing.
- Open the Uber app between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, December 10.
- Request DONATE at the bottom of the screen.
- If you’re matched, an Uber driver-partner will arrive to collect your donations and drop them off at a nearby Goodwill location.
- It’s totally free, and those who donate will receive a follow-up email with tax receipt info.
THE DETAILS:
- Available in greater Seattle area
- We can only accept clothing donations if they’re bagged.
- Our driver-partners can’t leave their cars unattended. Please meet them curbside with your donations upon arrival.
- While you probably have other great items to donate, we’re only accepting clothing for this drive.
- Demand will be high, so please be patient.
We’re teaming up with Seattle Goodwill, serving the north Puget Sound area, to bring you this quick and convenient way to meet our shared commitment of bringing educational goals within reach and expanding economic opportunity in our community. Mark your calendars and will see you soon!
