Uber Chicago is proud to highlight the efforts of a very important group of partners on the Uber platform – our community’s teachers. This month, we’d like to celebrate and give back to the men and women who educate our city’s residents!
For the month of September, every teacher on the uberX platform will keep 100% of their fares, with no commission taken by Uber.*
Teachers are the unsung heroes of our community and they partner with Uber for a variety of reasons. Not only does Uber allow educators to flexibly earn extra income, be it during the summer or during the school year, an Uber partnership is a way for them to get to know their city and connect with a variety of people in the community.
This initiative is a small way to celebrate our partners who create and provide opportunities for our communities across the area.
