UberEATS Partner Highlight: Eric Kimmel
Originally hailing from Dallas Texas, Eric Kimmel spent many years working as a fashion designer in Paris, London and Tokyo. He eventually made his way to Los Angeles for a fashion “gig”. Fast forward 5 years, and he’s still here!
Eric joined UberEATS as a delivery partner in January 2017 – the inaugural month Bicycle Delivery became available in LA. Initially he opted to deliver via bicycle. side from the exercise, becoming a delivery partner would allow him to gain some inside knowledge of delivery, as well as experience working with the UberEATS platform.
To say Eric has cycled up some serious time on a bicycle is an understatement – he’s completed almost 400 trips and still maintains a 93% rating on the platform! The best part? Enjoying the surprise and delight eaters show when he pulls up on a bicycle with their food.
When Eric is not online, he enjoys working on his restaurant concept “Joe Schmear” which will open next month in two downtown locations. He is currently sourcing the best ingredients for his concept and is working on a deliverable coffee to pair with his bagels and spreads. He hopes to work with UberEATS to provide the delivery of the food.
The flexibility UberEATS provides allows Eric, and many other delivery partners, to work during their own time, leaving them with the opportunity to pursue their passions and dreams.
