Revere and Winthrop Move Us
Recently, we were thrilled to be able to meet the many women and men from Revere and Winthrop who help keep Boston moving. We hosted an event to show our appreciation for everything they do, and to get the chance to hear their stories, learn more about their lives, and enjoy some delicious food.
More than 1000 driver-partners call Revere and Winthrop home, and they’ve been able to drive with Uber to support themselves and their families. This past year, they were able to earn over $11 million dollars using the Uber platform, and in 2015 alone, they have completed over 450,000 trips! These parents, teachers, small business owners, and are able to utilize the flexibility of the Uber platform to drive whenever and as often as they want to earn steady money.

These amazing, inspiring partners have played a vital role in keeping our communities moving. They’ve made a huge impact on the residents in Revere, Winthrop, and all over Boston. Allowing easier access to places that used to be difficult to get to – especially in the winter – has been incredibly valuable to residents and local businesses alike.
