Moving Gloucester
Edon

More than 75 Uber driver-partners call Gloucester home. Together they have completed more than 10,000 trips in the last 2 years.

In August alone, riders took more than 1,000 trips to and from Gloucester, and that number continues to rise.

This week, we celebrated our commitment to the community of Gloucester with an event held at Camden County College. In attendance were both new and existing driver-partners as well as Gloucester Mayor Dave Mayer.

“We are excited to see the rising demand for Uber as Gloucester Township continues to grow. Uber offers flexible jobs that fit the lifestyle of our residents.” – David Mayer, Mayor of Gloucester

New Jersey driver-partner, Donald, spoke about his experience driving with Uber in the area.

“As a driver, Uber has given me the ability to do something I like to do and at the same time be able to provide a service to people that helps them in their day to day lives. It could be a ride home after drinking or helping someone get to work – it’s a great opportunity for everyone involved.” – Donald, uberX partner since 2014
