Transitioning from military to civilian life can be challenging, but at Uber we recognize that veterans are some of our nation’s most talented and skilled leaders. That’s why we’re excited to launch UberMILITARY in Miami on Thursday: a program to introduce service members, veterans and military spouses to Uber and empower them as entrepreneurs and small business owners through the Uber platform. As part of our launch we’ll be hosting two sessions for the South Florida military community:

WHEN

SESSION I

Partner Appreciation: Come meet the resourceful, hardworking, and compassionate UberMILITARY partners driving on the platform today.

SESSION II

Why sign up to be an Uber partner?

Make Good Money: uberX partners use their personal vehicles for rides. If you’ve got a car from 2004 or newer, you’re eligible to drive on the Uber platform.

Flexibility So You Can Put Your Life First: Uber gives you the freedom and flexibility to set your own schedule, so you can drive whenever and wherever, yet still be there for all of life’s most important moments.

Safety, Transparency and Accountability: Rides can only be requested through the app so you’ll always know who you’re picking up. Plus, you have the option to rate each rider after every ride, ensuring Uber is a good experience for drivers, too.

Simple, Efficient and Productive: Uber offers the largest network of riders so you have the greatest earning potential. Just turn on the app, get connected to the closest user in need of a ride, and drive.
