Happy Mother’s Day!

This Mother’s Day, we want to honor our very special driver-partners who also play the most important role of all – being a Mom.

Our partner, Oryana, lives in Oak Park with her 11-year-old daughter. This morning, Oryana shared her personal Uber driver partner experiences and story with Aly from WCIU’s You & Me in the Morning. Check out the touching segment here:

As a committed career woman, Ishanti wasn’t always able to spend as much time with her daughter as she wished to – she couldn’t be there to get her dressed for school or help with her homework. Now, with the flexibility to set her own schedule, Ishanti is around for the little moments that she didn’t used to be. She wakes up every morning and gets her daughter dressed for school (in something bedazzled, of course – Chloe has a flare for flash), and is there every afternoon to pick her up.



Ishanti is a seasoned driver and loves what she does for many reasons. But most importantly, she loves that partnering with Uber gives her the flexibility and opportunity to provide for her daughter while being an involved parent.

To the thousands of driver-partners who also have the title of “Mom”, we thank you. We appreciate the hard work you do while you’re on the road, and honor everything you do when you’re not. You inspire us today and every day.
