Behind the Wheel with… Junji, uberX partner driver

Today we’re going Behind the Wheel With Junji, one of our top-rated uberX partner drivers in Connecticut. When he isn’t driving folks all around Connecticut in his Honda Accord, Junji is busy hitting the books, or should we say, hitting the massage tables, at the University of Bridgeport.

The 25-year-old from Quincy, MA, is studying to be a chiropractor, and is currently enrolled in the college’s four-year program. The workload is tough and the stress high, but as Junji points out—he does at least get to enjoy relaxing, free massages once in a while for class.

Junji has good taste when it comes to choosing lunch options. We met him at The Walrus + Carpenter smokehouse in Bridgeport for some burgers and smoked maple pork belly.

Fun Facts About Junji:

• During high school, Junji occasionally skipped class to go bowling with friends. He ended up getting so good, he almost became a professional bowler.
• He is currently taking 13 classes as part of the University of Bridgeport’s four-year College of Chiropractic program. Thirteen! Impressive…
• In his (little) spare time, Junji enjoys playing golf. One of his favorite courses is Oxford Green in Oxford, CT.
• While he didn’t become a professional bowler, he still plays when he can fit it in.
