Terminal 4 Pickups Relocation to Zone B on December 30, 2025 at 2:00 AM EST

Effective December 30, 2025 at 2:00 AM EST, all pickups for Terminal 4 will relocate curbside at Arrivals in Zone B.

Uber Black drivers will be able to queue for Curbside Black at Terminal 4, Zone B1 if they accept a PIN request.

Modifiche importanti ai terminal 5 e 7 dell’aeroporto JFK

Effective Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 07:00 AM ET, the Port Authority of NY & NJ will relocate all JFK Terminal 5 and 7 for-hire vehicle pickups to the Howard Beach Ride App & Car Services Lot near the Howard Beach Air Train Station due to construction. For-Hire Vehicle pickups will not be permitted at Terminals 5 and 7 until further notice. Drivers will be able to wait in the NEW additional FHV Hold Lot 3 at the Howard Beach AirTrain Station for their rides.

Regolamenti aeroportuali

  • Only licensed TLC drivers in New York City are eligible to receive pickup requests at the Airport.
  • Driver cancellations: Trip cancellations can take away from the great Uber experience that both riders and drivers expect. Please remember that drivers who improperly use the app and intentionally disrupt the service, including excessively canceling rides or asking riders to cancel rides, may lose the ability to receive trip requests to and from the airport through the driver app.
  • Ground transportation and airport security staff: Airport rules are as important as traffic rules. Airports expect drivers to follow the instructions of the airport staff.
  • Drivers should only wait in the two designated staging lots at the airport.

Pickups at the airport

Nota: C'è un limite al numero di veicoli a noleggio ammessi nelle code di attesa in aeroporto, che varia in base all'ora del giorno e al livello della domanda.

Waiting for requests

Per ricevere richieste di ritiro all'aeroporto, inserisci uno dei punti di sosta designati per FHV all'interno del JFK, il parcheggio per cellulari o il parcheggio per limousine (vedi mappa qui sotto). Una volta nelle aree di sosta, gli autisti partner ricevono le richieste di corse tramite una coda FIFO (Virtual First-in, first-out). Gli autisti partner possono aspettare in una delle aree di attesa e saranno idonei per le stesse corse.

Alcune cose da sapere sulle code FIFO:

  • la tua posizione all'interno dell'area di attesa non influisce sulla posizione nella coda virtuale
  • Quando ti trovi nelle aree di attesa designate, potrai visualizzare la tua posizione in coda e il numero di partner che ti precederanno nell'app Uber Driver
  • Puoi perdere il tuo posto in coda se: vai offline nell'app Uber Driver, guidi al di fuori della zona FIFO, non accetti più richieste di corse consecutive o annulli più corse (se l'utente annulla, rimarrai in cima alla coda)
  • Entrambe le aree di attesa dispongono di un parcheggio gratuito per un massimo di 3 ore
  • È severamente vietato parcheggiare o fermarsi ai terminal o altrove all'interno della proprietà dell'aeroporto e non entrare nella coda. Ciò potrebbe comportare una sanzione. Uber non paga le multe emesse agli autisti partner per aver parcheggiato illegalmente negli aeroporti

Picking up your rider

  • When you receive a notification you have a pickup request, follow the directions in the driver app.
  • As you approach the pickup area, the app will indicate your rider information and the terminal number where he or she is waiting.
  • Once you receive a request, accept it and pick up your rider on the arrivals level at John F. Kennedy International Airport for Terminals 1, 4, and 8. For Terminal 5 & 7 go to Howard Beach Ride App & Car Services Lot near the Howard Beach Air Train Station due to construction. For-Hire Vehicle pickups will not be permitted at Terminals 5 and 7 until further notice. Drivers will be able to wait in the NEW additional FHV Hold Lot 3 at the Howard Beach AirTrain Station for their rides.
  • For Curbside Black PIN make sure to follow all signs and pull into the designated space for a rider to be directed to your vehicle.
  • Terminal areas can be crowded at times. Once you arrive at the pickup location, if you can’t find your rider, message or call them through the driver app to let them know where you are

Accessibilità

  • Riders who require an accessibility accommodation will be able to request a curbside pickup through the Uber app.
    • At Terminal 5, these pickups occur at the outer curb of the pedestrian island.
  • You can follow your navigation to the pickup point if a rider requests a curbside pickup.
  • If your rider calls, messages, or informs you of the need for a curbside pickup due to an accessibility need, you are permitted to meet your rider at the terminal curbside. Riders who request an accessible pickup will be directed to the “Accessible Ride App Pickup” POI for their terminal.
