Wait time and Cancellation fees in the UK

We have recently made some changes to our wait time and cancellation fees that we hope will help make Uber better for you.

Wait time at pick-ups and stops

To respect your drivers’ time at pick-ups and during extra stops made mid-trip, you are charged a wait time fee if your driver is waiting longer than a few minutes. The wait time fee threshold and/or fee per minute vary depending on product type.

Cancellations

To respect your drivers’ time, you are charged a cancellation fee if the trip is cancelled after a considerable time of it being accepted by a driver. Please note, there are two scenarios where cancellation fees might be incurred.
