Exclusive rewards for you

Fuel your drive and fill your pockets with brand-new rewards

Drive with confidence

Keep moving forward with rewards that give you more.

Drive like a Pro

You’re a person who never settles. We want to keep you fuelled on the road by connecting you to discounts on fuel and auto needs, Area Preferences in select cities, and priority support.

Live like a Pro

Life happens off the road, too. Enjoy it more with a cash reward, in-store perks at participating bp sites, and other savings.

Achieve like a Pro

You’ve got big plans. Navigate the road ahead with Status Protection when you choose to take a break from driving and language learning with Rosetta Stone.

Here’s how it works

You already drive like a Pro. Now it’s time to earn like a Pro, too.

Earn points

Earn one point for every trip you take. You can get bonus points when you drive during peak hours. The more you drive, the more points you’ll earn. You accumulate points during periods that last 3 months: November-January, February-April, May-July, and August-October.

Give great service to riders

Your status is based on the total number of points accumulated over the previous cycle while maintaining your star rating above 4.85 and cancellation rate below 3%.

Unlock tiers

Points help determine if you're Blue, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond. The higher your status, the more rewards you can get. When you earn enough points to unlock the next status tier, you can start enjoying your new rewards.

Don’t just get rewarded, get ahead

Earn 5 points for each trip you accept or complete during the below hours:

  • Monday - Thursday, 7am - 9am and 5pm - 7pm
  • Friday, 7am - 9am and 4pm - 11:59pm
  • Saturday - Sunday, 12am - 5am and 9am - 11:59pm

Frequently asked questions

  • With Uber Pro, there are four status tiers: Blue, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. To reach Gold, Platinum or Diamond tiers, you’ll need to do two things:

    • Earn points: Each tier has a certain number of points that you’ll need to reach in order to get access to that tier’s rewards. You earn points by completing trips.
    • Keep your rating to 4.85 or above and cancellation rate to 3% or below.

Points are accumulated over fixed three-month periods (for example: 1 August to 31 October). When you earn enough points to reach each higher tier, you’ll unlock that tier’s rewards. You’ll keep access to those rewards for the remainder of the three-month period and for the next three-month period so long as you continue to meet the rating and cancellation rate criteria. Points will then reset at the start of each new three-month period.

  • You earn points by completing trips. During off-peak times, you’ll earn 1 point for every trip, and during peak times you’ll earn 5 points.

  • Earn 5 points for each trip you complete that starts or ends during the below hours:

    • Monday - Thursday, 7am - 9am and 5pm - 7pm
    • Friday - 7am - 9am and 4pm - 11:59pm
    • Saturday - Sunday, 12am - 5am and 9am - 11:59pm
  • If you complete a trip that starts or ends during a 5-point hour, you will receive 5 points for that trip.

  • You only receive points for trips that are completed. This means that you won’t earn points if a rider cancels your trip.

  • No, it’s completely free for Uber driver-partners to be part of the rewards program. All driver-partners are automatically enrolled in the Blue status tier when they begin driving with Uber.

  • The number of points needed to reach each different tier may vary by city. Please see the “Uber Pro” section of your Driver app for the applicable points thresholds for the Gold, Platinum and Diamond tiers for your city. All driver-partners qualify for Blue status regardless of how many points they have or what their star rating and cancellation rate are.

  • If you unlock a new tier, you’ll get access to that tier’s rewards right away. You’ll keep access to those rewards for the remainder of the 3-month period and for the next 3-month period (again, so long as you continue to meet the rating and cancellation rate criteria).

  • If your rating drops below 4.85 or your cancellation rate rises above 3%, you will automatically be placed in the Blue tier. This means you’ll only have access to Blue rewards. As soon as you meet the rating and cancellation criteria again during the 3-month period, you’ll gain access to whatever tier your points qualify you for.

For example, if you have 2800 points, a 4.9 rating and a 4% cancellation rate, you will have access to Blue rewards. If you then decrease your cancellation rate to 3%, you will unlock Diamond status and rewards.

  • How many points you earn during each three-month period determines what rewards you can access for the next three-month period.

For example, if you earned enough points for Platinum status during 1 August to 31 October, you’ll have access to Platinum rewards from 1 November to 31 January (as long as your driver rating and cancellation rate meet the requirements explained above under “How does Uber Pro work?”). However, if you earn only enough points for Gold status between 1 November to 31 January, you’ll drop down from Platinum to Gold status for the three-month period beginning 1 February.

  • Your cancellation rate looks at the number of trips you cancel compared to the total number of trips that you accept in the last 30 days (since you last took a trip). It does not include trips where the rider cancels.

Your overall star rating is an average of individual ratings provided by riders from your past 500 trips (or all trips if you have completed less than 500 trips).

If you receive a rating of 4 stars or below on a trip for a reason that is out of your control, like a bad GPS route or traffic, the rating will be excluded from your overall rating. See more about ratings here.

  • Each status tier has access to different rewards. You can see the full list of rewards at any time in the Uber Pro section of your Driver app.

  • Some rewards (like seeing the trip duration and direction before accepting a trip and priority airport rematch) are applied automatically as soon as you unlock them. To redeem other rewards (like fuel discounts and in-store perks), head to the Uber Pro section of your Driver app.

  • We have now launched Uber Eats Pro for delivery people, a new rewards program built to help you reach your goals – on and off the road.

  • You can keep track of your points and rewards at any time in the Uber Pro section of your Driver app.

  • Surge does not impact the number of points you earn. You will receive the same number of points for trips that have surge pricing as you would for trips that do not have surge pricing.

  • You will receive the same number of points per completed trip regardless of what type of trip - UberX, Uber Pool, Uber Comfort, Uber Premium, etc. Each Uber Pool drop off will count as one completed trip.
