- What is Hotels on Uber?
Hotels on Uber is a new way to search, book, and pay for hotels directly through the Uber app.
- Can I book a hotel from anywhere in the world?
At the moment, to book a hotel on Uber, you need to be located in the United States.
- Does Uber support booking holiday rentals or other types of accommodation?
At the moment, Uber only offers hotel bookings, but we might offer other types of accommodation in the future.
- How do I pay for a Hotels booking made through Uber?
You can pay for Hotels using your credit or debit card, just like you would for rides or orders in the Uber app. Uber will share your preferred payment card details from the Uber app with Expedia to process the transaction. Hotels booked through Uber are subject to standard Uber policies.
- How much do Hotels cost on Uber?
Hotel pricing varies and can be viewed directly in the app. Plus, Uber One members get at least 20% off selected properties, and 10% back in Uber One credits on all hotel bookings.
- Is there a fee when booking Hotels through Uber?
No, there are no extra fees.
- How do Uber Hotel Benefits and Rewards work?
Uber One members in the United States earn 10% back in Uber One credits on eligible hotel bookings. To qualify for Uber One Credits from your Hotels booking, you must have an active Uber One membership. You can explore Uber One terms here.
- Where can I see my Hotels bookings and confirmations?
You can see your upcoming, current, and past Hotels bookings in the Hotels section of the Uber app, and your booking confirmations can be found in a confirmation email as well as the Activity Hub section of your Uber app. Your receipt for your Hotels booking will be sent with the confirmation email and can be viewed on the booking details page directly from the app.
- How do I cancel my booking?
To cancel your booking:
- Go to the Hotels section in your Uber app.
- Select Reservations at the top of the page.
- Select the booking you’d like to cancel. Please keep in mind that you’ll only be able to cancel eligible bookings before your check-in time. You can find more info in the cancellation policy section of your booking.
- How can I get a refund for my booking?
To get a refund on your booking, you need to book a refundable room. Not all rooms are refundable. You can see if your booking is refundable when you book.
- Can I book more than one room through Uber?
At the moment, you can only book one room per Hotels booking. You can make multiple bookings if needed.
- Why did my hotel search come up with no results?
This happens if there aren’t any hotels available for your specific search criteria. Please adjust your search criteria, such as your group size and travel dates, to see available hotels.

²Uber One is a subscription that auto-renews. Your payment method will be charged according to the amount and frequency linked to your chosen membership at sign-up and when any free trial or promotional period ends. You can cancel your membership at any time in the Uber One section of the Uber app by selecting Manage Membership, then End Membership. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your next renewal day, you might see a charge that will be automatically refunded. Uber Cash or Uber One credits earned with membership can be revoked if your membership ends. Except where prohibited by law, your subscription charge is non-refundable once your billing cycle starts. Use of Uber One is governed by the Uber One terms.
³You'll receive your Uber One credits within 24 hours of checking in. Uber One credits earned through hotel bookings can only be used for rides and orders in USD (i.e. in the US). Uber One credits can't be used for future hotel bookings. See Uber One Terms.
