UberWATCH: Ride with Overwatch agents at PAX East

This weekend is PAX East, one of the largest gaming events in North America, and we’re giving you the opportunity to ride shotgun with the heroes of one of the most anticipated games of the event, Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch. Meet some of the characters while going for a free joyride in outlandish vehicles: the fierce Polaris Slingshot moto-trike, the colossal Ford F650 supertruck, and the swift Lamborghini Aventador.

Meet the heroes

Role: Offense
Vehicle: Lamborghini Aventador
Capacity: 1 passenger
This time-jumping adventurer will take you on the ride of a lifetime—blink and you might miss it.

Soldier: 76Soldier: 76
Role: Offense
Vehicle: Ford F650 Supertruck
Capacity: Up to 4 passengers
His true identity may be a mystery, but this vigilante’s whereabouts won’t be in a truck this huge.

Role: Tank
Vehicle: Polaris Slingshot
Capacity: 1 passenger
A former pro gamer, her precision piloting allows her to deftly maneuver mech suits and moto-trikes alike.


  • When: April 22 – 24, 9am – 6:30pm
  • Where: Only available at the BCEC (PAX East location)
  • How: Request UberWATCH in the app
  • Cost: Free

How it works

  • Open the Uber app and request UberWATCH
  • Head to the designated pickup area at the Westin (see map below)
  • If you get randomly matched with a hero, you’ll go on a ride around Boston and be returned safely back to PAX East
  • Tracer and D.Va can only accomodate 1 passenger, but if you match up with Soldier: 76, you can bring up to 3 friends
