Pickup locations may depend on the type of ride you request and the size of the airport. Follow the instructions in the app about where to meet your driver. You can also look for signs that point to designated rideshare app pickup zones or other ground transportation. If you can’t find your driver, contact them through the app.

Your driver will be informed of any schedule changes to your flight. For UberX, Uber Comfort, and UberXL rides, meet your driver up to 45 minutes after your flight's arrival before late fees apply. If you request an Uber trip for pickup from BOS Airport, the cost will depend on factors that include the type of ride you request, the estimated length and duration of the trip, tolls and city fees, and current demand for rides.

You can see an estimate of the price before you request by going here and entering your pickup spot and destination. Then when you request a ride, you’ll see your actual price in the app based on real-time factors. If you reserve a ride ahead of time, you’ll be shown the price up front and can lock it in. Unless there are changes in the trip’s route, duration, or distance, the price you get is the price you’ll pay.

The luggage capacity varies by Uber ride type. For example, an UberX ride can usually hold 2 suitcases, while an UberXL ride can usually hold 3 suitcases. For the most guaranteed space, we recommend UberXXL, which features 3-row vehicles with trunk space. Luggage space in all other ride options is not guaranteed and depends on the number of passengers and the type of vehicle. We recommend confirming with your driver by contacting them through the app after you’re matched.

To cancel, go to your rides in the Activity section of the Uber app. You can cancel at no charge up to 60 minutes before your reservation pickup time. If you cancel after that, you’ll be charged a cancellation fee for the driver's time if they have already been confirmed.

By law, small children are required to be in a car seat. Drivers are not guaranteed to have car seats available, but riders may provide their own. Get more information about our safety policies.

Service animals are allowed, and Uber drivers may not refuse a trip because of the presence of one. For pets, however, it’s recommended that you select the Uber Pet option when choosing your ride. Uber Pet is also available with Uber Reserve rides.

Need to be picked up straight from the curb? Curbside pickups are available—just type or voice-to-text “Accessible Ride App Pick Up” and the terminal name (i.e. “Accessible Ride App Pick Up Terminal C”) in your app to unlock Massport-approved accessible curbside pickups. You can also call or message your driver to request an accessible pickup. Follow the steps below to unlock the curbside pickups:

1. Click on “Where to”.
2. Change Pickup Location/Origin and enter “Accessible Ride App Pick Up Terminal (A, B West, B East, C, or E)”.
3. Enter “Destination” and select destination.
4. Choose your the product you wish to request.
5. After selecting the desired product type, the Accessible Pick Up area will unlock and show the rider and driver the door number to navigate to (i.e. “Door A102” for Terminal A).
6. Select “Confirm Pickup”.
7. Meet your driver at the Massport-approved Accessible Ride App Pick Up area.

Yes, you can request to have multiple stops during your ride. Choose the plus sign next to the destination field in the app to add multiple stops.

Uber is available 24/7. For early or late flights, there may be longer driver arrival times. Reserving in advance is the best way to help ensure that you'll have a ride to the airport.*

Passenger capacity depends on the make and model of the vehicle and the amount of luggage. A typical UberX ride can usually hold 4 passengers; an UberXL ride can accommodate up to 7. For the most guaranteed room, we recommend UberXXL - 3-row vehicles with room for at least 6 passengers and additional trunk space.
