Every trip is insured

Policies that help driver-partners and delivery people

Our insurance policies work with your personal insurance coverage to protect you whenever you’re driving or delivering with Uber. Here’s how it works.

Rideshare and delivery insurance

Partner support insurance

Uber offers partner support insurance for certain personal injuries, helping to cover partners should something go wrong while using the Uber app. Terms, conditions, limits and exclusions apply.

Requirements

All cars driven by Australian ridesharing driver-partners and delivery people must be:

  • road registered and insured for compulsory third party (CTP) in your state or territory of residence, and
  • insured for a minimum of third party property damage, with the driver-partner / delivery person as policyholder or named insured driver.

Commercial insurance is also accepted and the driver-partner / delivery person is not required to be the policyholder or named insured driver for this type of coverage.

Start making money

Driving with Uber is your way to earn extra money anytime. And with more riders and trips than any other service, there’s more money around every corner.
