- are at least 21 years old,
- hold an unrestricted Australian licence and have held a full Australian licence for at least 12 months in the last 2 years

Signing up with Uber in Brisbane
1. Upload your documents
The first step is to create an Uber account, it only takes a minute and you can do it online. We’ll need you to upload some documents to get started, including your driver’s licence, vehicle insurance, and a valid profile photo. You can do this online or, if you’d prefer in-person support, you can visit us at a Greenlight Hub.
2. Get authorised
To become authorised to drive using the Uber app in Queensland, you'll need to hold a Queensland driver’s authorisation and Booked Hire Service Licence for your vehicle.
3. Get a vehicle inspection and complete online safety education
You will need to arrange a vehicle inspection in order to obtain a Certificate of Inspection and confirm that your vehicle is roadworthy.
Lastly, you will be prompted to complete a 30-minute online safety education module.
