Meet Vicki of Cincinnati, Ohio:
A wife, mother of 3, business owner, and outstanding Uber driver-partner. After using Uber multiple times as a rider in Washington, D.C., Vicki decided to switch to the driver’s seat and partner with Uber in her hometown of Cincinnati.
When asked about how Uber fits into her life, Vicki shared, “Driving with Uber is a great way to relieve stress after a long day in the office. It’s soothing!”
After driving 20+ hours a week for most of the year, Vicki has many memorable rides. However, Vicki empathized with one rider in particular: a young mother of three who uses Uber from time to time to surprise her children at daycare. The rider generally has a two hour commute home via the city bus, but is able to shorten that time to thirty minutes when riding with Uber in order to spend more time with her children.
Vicki’s empathy expands beyond the riders with whom she has direct contact. While spending hours driving through her city, Vicki noticed a rapidly growing homeless population in Cincinnati; it’s now her mission to help curb this hardship. In addition to running her business and driving with Uber, Vicki uses Facebook to streamline the collection and distribution of care package donations for people experiencing homelessness.
It’s safe to say that this female entrepreneur, mother, and wife is truly one-of-a-kind. Remember to say hello if you join on her on her next Uber journey around town!
