Connecting a community with Uber Vouchers
In 2025, the Town of Innisfil took a leap forward in its mission to provide flexible transportation with the introduction of Uber Vouchers.
Now, with just a few quick taps, riders can claim a voucher, request a ride, and get going—making it that much easier for residents and visitors to explore everything Innisfil has to offer.
How it works
Innisfil Transit operates through Uber to offer subsidies based on distance travelled. When riders book an eligible trip, the Town covers up to $10 of each trip fare for up to 50 trips per month.
Eligible trips travel anywhere within Innisfil and/to from the Barrie South GO Station or Bradford GO Station.
Single-passenger trips
If traveling as a single passenger, request a ride to an eligible destination and select Innisfil Transit.
Innisfil Transit offers shared rides, matching riders traveling in the same direction.
Riders pay the first $3.25, the Town of Innisfil covers the next $10.
Multi-passenger trips
If traveling with two to four passengers, request a ride to an eligible destination using the Multi-passenger Voucher.
Riders pay the first $6.50, regardless of the number of passengers. The Town of Innisfil covers the next $10.

Teen Transit Pilot
Until December 31, 2026, teens with an Uber Teen account can book up to 10 UberX trips using the Teen Transit Voucher and enjoy the same distance-based transit rates as the Innisfil Transit program.
