The jams are bumping, the glow sticks are out, and cabs are nowhere to be found. It must be festival season.

Outside Lands kicks off this Friday, and we’ve put together a few tips to make sure your weekend is a big hit.

Rolling deep is rolling cheap. We’ll have more large vehicles on the system than ever — including some slick stretch limos — so grab five friends and share an UberSUV. Some lucky riders will even find their cars stocked with ZICO coconut water.

Confirming that you’re in the right Uber is especially important during busy times. Choose a pickup spot that’s a few blocks away from the masses, and use the app to double-check your driver’s license plate number before you hop in the car.

MAKE ALL THE RIGHT MOVES

With the Giants at home and America’s Cup in full swing, Outside Lands isn’t the only show in town. Demand for rides will be off the charts, and surge pricing will be in effect to keep cars on the road.

The best times to request this weekend are in the early morning (before 11 am) and during the afternoon lull (roughly 3 to 8 pm). If you don’t get an Uber right away, try again after a few minutes.
