Now, we’re rolling out new features powered by AI, real-time communication, and community-driven content to support merchants in their long-term success. Here’s what’s coming:
AI Tools
Merchants are already seeing the benefits of AI, with 78% of those who use AI tools saying they’re effective. Now, we’re introducing a suite of new AI features to help restaurants analyze customer reviews, auto-fill menu descriptions, and enhance food photos:
- Summarize Customer Reviews: This new AI-powered feature helps restaurants quickly distill insights from customer reviews – highlighting areas for improvement and strengths to lean into – making it easier to understand feedback at scale.
- Menu Descriptions: AI-generated item descriptions make it easier for restaurants to complete their menus, while also helping customers feel confident in their choices.
- Enhance Food Photos: We’re using AI to detect and enhance low-quality food images – improving lighting, resolution, framing, and plating – to help restaurants showcase their dishes more accurately while elevating the customer experience from discovery to checkout.

Live Order Chat
We’re launching a new tool that lets merchants initiate chats directly with customers once an order has been received – helping to prevent issues before they arise. Live order chat can help improve order accuracy by enabling real-time communication to confirm replacements for out-of-stock items, clarify special requests, and check in on dietary or allergy preferences.
With smarter, more intuitive tools shaped by merchant feedback, we’re elevating the Uber Eats experience for both the businesses we serve and the communities they nourish.
