Today we’re launching our Meet the Team series with an introduction to Daniel, one of our amazing Operations Managers in Phoenix. With his keen knowledge of the local culinary scene, one-of-a-kind personality and always positive attitude, Daniel is a vital part of our operations team and an awesome resource for our partners. Describe yourself in one word. Inquisitive (or weird)

Where did you grow up? Good ol’ Mesa, AZ.

When you’re not working, you love to… I ride bikes around the neighborhood with my wife, binge watch HBO shows, and pretend I can freestyle rap.

Which superhero would you be and why? I’m a Wolverine fan but, I’d go Superman. As long as there’s no kryptonite around, we’re good to go. Otherwise, super strength, super speed AND the ability to fly!

My ultimate vacation getaway would consist of… Japan, and especially Tokyo fascinate me. It’s just a very different place with a very rich history. If I went there I’d learn the art of Ikebana, watch a sumo match, and do a ramen tour. I love all ramen. I want ramen now. Do you have ramen?

PHOENIX FAVORITES

Restaurant: Tough one. Best meal is Binkley’s, but favorite go-to would be Crudo.

Bar: If you haven’t been to Crescent Ballroom, you’re definitely missing out. Not too many places in the world where you can get a beer, burrito and an indie concert – all at the same time!

Hidden Gem: Drive all the way south on Central and drive to the top of South Mountain. It’s the best view of the Valley!
