Happy Birthday America!

Ah, the Fourth of July is here. A long weekend filled with fun, sun and all things ‘Merica. At Uber Seattle we want you to make the most of your weekend and we’re here to help you do it safely and in style!

Planning to catch the fireworks over Lake Union? Check out these pro-tips!

• After the fireworks, we suggest enjoying the summer night by walking a few blocks North BEFORE requesting a ride.
• Call or text your driver to ensure you’re both heading to the right spot and be sure to verify your driver before taking off!
• Expect longer ETAS and increased demand!

#UberMADD

Safety has always been our top priority and we’re honored to announce that we’re teaming up with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) this 4th of July to ensure safety for riders, drivers and the communities we serve. Enter in the promo code UberMADD and Uber will donate $1 for every ride taken, and $10 if you are new to Uber! You can find out more about the partnership here.

No matter what your plans this holiday weekend, Uber’s got you covered all around The Emerald City!
