Drivers in Chicago, Denver, New Jersey, New Orleans, Orlando, Phoenix, Seattle, Tampa, Washington, D.C. and Boston who have been invited to participate in the Uber Pro program, have achieved Gold, Platinum or Diamond status, and have completed 3,000 or more lifetime trips are eligible to participate in the ASU and Uber Education Partnership. The program provides 2 educational options: take classes toward an undergraduate degree through ASU Online or earn a non-degree certificate in entrepreneurship or English through ASU’s continuing education program. Drivers or their family members (spouse or domestic partner, child, sibling, parent, or legal guardian or dependent) will also have access to Earned Admission, a program that helps prospective students gain admission into ASU through a series of courses, if the student is not initially admissible. For a driver or their family member interested in applying for a degree program through ASU Online, those who are admitted into Arizona State University will also be required to complete the program application process, including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year or as necessary.

To help the people you care about most pursue their dreams, qualified drivers can pass the reward to a family member. You and your family will not have to pay any tuition cost for that family member. Family members include:

*Spouse or domestic partner

*Child

*Sibling

*Dependent

*Parent or legal guardian

Yes! If you are eligible for the ASU and Uber Education Partnership, Uber and ASU will cover 100% of the cost of your tuition after scholarships. The ASU and Uber Education Partnership will offer an eligible driver or a member of their family 2 education options, each with 100% tuition coverage:

Credits toward undergraduate degrees

The ASU and Uber Education Partnership covers classes toward all bachelor’s degrees delivered fully online by Arizona State University (ASU). Drivers and their family have access to 80+ degree programs from ASU Online, and the diploma and transcript earned online are identical to those earned on campus—with all saying “Arizona State University.” The same award-winning faculty teach courses, just redesigned for online learning.

Continuing education courses

The ASU and Uber Education Partnership also covers continuing education courses in entrepreneurship and English as a second language delivered fully online by Arizona State University (ASU). Students enrolled in English can anticipate spending 8 hours per week on coursework, and each course takes approximately 8 weeks to complete. The English courses are offered at 8 levels based on proficiency. Students enrolled in entrepreneurship can anticipate spending 4-6 hours completing each course. The entrepreneurship course, Foundations of Entrepreneurship, is available starting December 1, 2018.

You remain eligible for tuition coverage for as long as you maintain Gold, Platinum or Diamond status, and for an additional 3-month grace period if your Uber Pro status falls to Partner level. You can regain eligibility for tuition coverage by requalifying for Gold, Platinum or Diamond status. Tuition for all courses started while you are eligible will be covered, even if your eligibility subsequently lapses during the term of the class.
