Updating your Social Security Number

In order to get on the road with Uber, you need to update your Social Security Number so that a secondary background check can be completed. To do this, follow the simple steps below.
- Visit https://partners.uber.com on your computer (you cannot update this information within the app)
- Login using your credentials
- Select the ‘Banking’ tab at the top of the screen
- Click ‘Edit’ under Bank Account Details.
- Enter your Social Security Number and select ‘Submit’
- You’ll receive an email from the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) with the results of your CORI background check within 5-7 business days
- Once passed, you are ready to start driving
