Last month, we launched in-app tipping and celebrated the event by matching driver’s tips for 24 hours. Drivers took home an extra $2M in earnings that day. After hearing your stories and feedback, we’re matching tips again on Tuesday, August 15. This time, it’s not just for drivers, but for delivery partners, too.

And drivers, we heard your feedback. We’re making sure riders and eaters know all about tipping — not only for the days we match, but every day.

How tip matching works:

1. Start accepting tips in your driver or delivery app
2. Take trips and make deliveries on August 15 from 12am to 11:59pm
3. That’s all you have to do — remember, Uber service fees are not deducted from your tips
