Going above and beyond in New Orleans

Giving riders a trip to remember is something Uber driver-partner, Deniz takes seriously. A happily married father of two, Deniz emigrated from Turkey to New Orleans in 2000 where he was a travel agent and member of the National Hockey Team.

A ride to remember

Finding a career in the hospitality industry has always been a goal for Deniz and Uber helps him earn extra money in addition to his job as the head chef in a NOLA pizza restaurant. Deniz is passionate about giving his guests the best experience possible whether that be at his restaurant or in his one of a kind car.

In a city known for its lively nightlife, Deniz has outfitted his vehicle with a disco ball, karaoke machine, iPads, a fog machine and plenty of other toys to keep passengers happy. Unfortunately, due to its age and some outstanding mechanical issues, Deniz’s unique car had to be taken off the road.

When we heard how much NOLA riders loved getting rides with Deniz we wanted to help him get back on the road. We were happy to help get Deniz a brand new party van for him to continue to provide unforgettable experiences for the city of New Orleans. Who knows, you may even find yourself singing karaoke with Deniz the next time you request a ride one fateful NOLA evening.
