Uber is the official rideshare partner of Outside Lands 2019. The annual music festival in Golden Gate Park is expected to bring in thousands of fans this year from August 9 – August 11, so it could be a great opportunity to earn.

Picking up and dropping off riders

Whenever they’re ready to head out, riders will be instructed to meet you a few blocks away from Golden Gate Park, on the north or south sides of the park at designated pickup/dropoff zones.

• North pickup/dropoff zones
  • 30th Ave between Balboa St and Anza St
  • Balboa St between 30th and 32nd Ave
• South pickup/dropoff zones
  •  Irving St between 25th Ave and 27th Ave

Road closures

The following entrances will be closed to the public from August 8 at 8:00pm through Sunday, August 11th at 11:00pm:

• On the North side of the park: 
  • Transverse Dr at Crossover Dr 
  • JFK Dr at Transverse Dr 
  • 30th Ave at Fulton St 
  • 36th Ave at Fulton St 
  • 43rd Ave (Chain of Lakes) at Fulton St 
  • 47th Ave at Fulton St 
  • JFK Dr at the Great Highway
• On South side of the park
  • Martin Luther King Jr Dr at Crossover Dr 
  • Middle Drive West between MLK Dr & Transverse Dr 
  • 25th Ave 
  • 41st Ave (Chain of Lakes) at Lincoln Ave 
  • Martin Luther King Jr Dr at Lincoln Ave (La Playa St) 
  • Sunset Blvd at Irving St

Additional information

• With thousands of riders attending the event each night, we expect there will be a lot of pedestrians around Golden Gate Park.
• There is a contact feature in the app that can be used to  confirm a riders location once you have reached the pickup location.
