Driving at the Belmont Stakes

We’ve partnered with the Belmont Stakes, hosted in Elmont, New York, to give you access to a designated Uber Zone for riders taking trips home from the races. Read on for details on pickup and dropoff locations, and be sure to remain within Nassau County while you’re online to be eligible to receive requests.

The Uber pickup zone

Follow in-app navigation for the best route

When you accept a trip at Belmont Park, please use the in-app navigation to Yellow Road for the best directions to The Uber Zone, located within the yellow field parking lot.

Follow signs to the yellow field lot for the event and find a parking space

Look for Uber signs directing you to The Uber Zone in the yellow field parking lot, and park in one of the rows while you wait. Once you find a parking space, please call or text riders to let them know what row you are parked in.

Confirm your rider and go

Riders are only allowed to request from Belmont Park, so they will know to meet you in The Uber Zone in the yellow field parking lot following the races. Once your rider arrives, confirm their name, and start the trip!

Where to drop off when you arrive

There will be separate Uber Zones for dropoffs and pickups on race day. For the smoothest dropoff experience, please head to Hempstead Turnpike at Wellington Road (near the Mobile gas station).
